This Privacy Policy explains how HumNature Kft. ("PetAndHouseEU", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares and otherwise processes personal data when you use the PetAndHouseEU website, iOS application, Android application and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
We process personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") where applicable.

2. WHO THIS PRIVACY POLICY APPLIES TO
This Privacy Policy applies to individuals who:
visit the PetAndHouseEU website;
create or maintain a PetAndHouseEU account;
use the Platform as an Owner, Sitter or Both;
create or respond to listings;
communicate with other Members;
upload photographs or introduction videos;
purchase or manage a membership;
participate in referral or affiliate programs;
contact customer support;
receive marketing communications where applicable; or
otherwise interact with PetAndHouseEU.
The Platform is intended only for individuals aged 18 years or older.
3. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
Depending on how you use PetAndHouseEU, we may process the following categories of personal data.
3.1. Account and Identification Information
This may include:
name;
email address;
account identifier;
profile photograph;
country;
language preferences;
account role, such as Owner, Sitter or Both;
login and account information; and
other information voluntarily added to your profile.
3.2. Profile Information
Members may voluntarily provide information used to create their profile and introduce themselves to other Members.
This may include:
profile description;
photographs;
languages spoken;
interests;
experience with pets;
pet-care preferences;
travel preferences;
availability;
preferred locations or countries; and
other information voluntarily supplied by the Member.
Members should avoid including sensitive personal information in their public profile unless it is genuinely necessary and they understand that the information may be visible to other Members.
3.3. Listing, Property and Pet Information
Owners may provide information relating to a sitting opportunity, including:
country and location;
sitting dates;
property descriptions;
accommodation information;
photographs of the property;
information about pets;
number and type of pets;
pet-care requirements;
relevant pet health or behavioural information;
transport or travel-related information;
facilities and amenities available at the property; and
other information necessary to describe the sitting opportunity.
Members are responsible for ensuring that they have the right to provide photographs and other information uploaded to the Platform.
3.4. Communications
When Members communicate through PetAndHouseEU, we may process information associated with those communications.
Private messages are intended to be accessible only to the relevant participants and, where necessary and lawful, to authorised PetAndHouseEU personnel or service providers for purposes such as security, abuse prevention, technical support, legal compliance or investigation of reported violations.
Private messages are not intended to be publicly displayed on the Platform.
3.5. Reviews and Ratings
Where the Platform allows Members to submit reviews or ratings, we may process:
the rating provided;
review text;
information identifying the reviewing Member;
information identifying the Member or sitting being reviewed; and
relevant timestamps or sitting references.
Reviews may be visible to other Members as part of the Platform's trust and reputation features.
3.6. Photographs and Other Uploaded Content
Members may upload profile photographs, property photographs, pet photographs and other permitted visual content.
Uploaded photographs may contain personal data where an identifiable person appears in the image.
Members should only upload photographs they are legally entitled to use and should obtain any required permission from identifiable third parties appearing in those photographs.
4. SITTER INTRODUCTION VIDEOS
4.1. Introduction Video Feature
Sitter Members and Members with a Both Membership may voluntarily upload a short introduction video of up to 15 seconds to their profile.
4.2. Personal Data Contained in Videos
An introduction video may contain personal data including:
the Member's image;
the Member's voice;
appearance;
information spoken by the Member;
objects, locations or other information visible in the background; and
other information voluntarily disclosed through the recording.
4.3. Purpose of Processing
Introduction videos are processed to allow Sitters to introduce themselves to other Members and to support trust, communication and informed decision-making between Members considering a sitting arrangement.
4.4. Visibility
Introduction videos may be displayed as part of the Sitter's profile and may therefore be viewed by other users who are permitted to access that profile through the Platform.
Members should not include information in their introduction video that they do not wish to disclose to other Members.
4.5. Other Individuals Appearing in Videos
Members should avoid including another identifiable person in an introduction video unless they have the necessary permission to do so.
The uploading Member is responsible for ensuring that they have any legally required permission concerning other identifiable persons appearing or being heard in the video.
4.6. Sensitive Information
Members should not intentionally include sensitive personal data, financial information, passwords, identification documents or other confidential information in an introduction video.
4.7. Facial Recognition and Biometric Identification
PetAndHouseEU does not use introduction videos for facial recognition, biometric identification or automated identification of Members.
The ordinary storage and display of an uploaded video containing a person's image or voice does not mean that PetAndHouseEU uses that information for biometric identification.
4.8. Deletion and Retention of Videos
Introduction videos may be retained while they are associated with an active Member profile and are necessary to provide the relevant feature.
Where the Platform provides a video deletion or replacement function, Members may remove or replace their introduction video.
Videos will also be deleted or anonymised where appropriate following account deletion, subject to limited retention where required by law, necessary for security purposes or reasonably necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
5. SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENT INFORMATION
PetAndHouseEU offers paid annual memberships.
We may process information relating to your subscription, including:
membership tier;
subscription status;
purchase date;
renewal date;
cancellation status;
payment status;
transaction references;
invoice information; and
other information required to administer your membership.
6. PAYMENT PROCESSING – STRIPE
PetAndHouseEU uses Stripe as a payment service provider.
Payment-card information is entered into and processed through Stripe's payment infrastructure.
PetAndHouseEU does not intend to directly store full payment-card numbers, card security codes or equivalent payment credentials processed by Stripe.
We may receive limited information necessary to administer subscriptions and payments, such as:
Stripe customer identifier;
subscription identifier;
invoice identifier;
membership plan;
payment status;
payment date;
renewal information;
cancellation information; and
limited transaction information.
Stripe processes personal data in accordance with its own applicable privacy documentation and legal obligations.
7. REFERRAL / INVITE FRIEND PROGRAM
Where PetAndHouseEU provides an Invite Friend or referral program, we may process information necessary to:
generate or associate referral codes;
attribute eligible referrals;
determine whether a referral resulted in a qualifying membership;
prevent referral fraud or abuse;
calculate eligibility for rewards; and
issue applicable rewards.
Members should only provide another person's personal information to PetAndHouseEU where they are legally permitted to do so.
Where possible, Members should share their referral link or code directly with the person rather than providing that person's contact details to PetAndHouseEU without permission.
8. AFFILIATE PROGRAM
Where an individual participates in the PetAndHouseEU affiliate program, we may process information necessary to:
create and administer an affiliate account;
provide an affiliate identifier or link;
track attributed referrals;
determine eligible conversions;
calculate commissions;
prevent fraud and abuse;
communicate with affiliates;
administer payments; and
maintain legally required accounting and tax records.
Additional information may be required from affiliates where necessary for payment, invoicing, tax or legal compliance.
9. CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND REPORTS
When you contact PetAndHouseEU, report a problem, submit a complaint or request assistance, we may process:
your contact information;
account information;
the content of your request;
communications relating to the request;
screenshots or documents you voluntarily provide; and
information necessary to investigate and respond to the matter.
10. TECHNICAL AND USAGE INFORMATION
When you use the Platform, certain technical information may be processed automatically.
Depending on the technologies used by the Platform, this may include:
IP address;
device type;
operating system;
browser type;
application version;
language;
approximate location derived from technical information;
dates and times of access;
pages or screens viewed;
technical logs;
crash information; and
interactions with Platform functionality.
We use such information where necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Platform and, where applicable and permitted, to understand how the Platform is used.
11. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING
Under the GDPR, personal data must be processed on an appropriate legal basis.
Depending on the processing activity, PetAndHouseEU may rely on the following legal bases.
11.1. Performance of a Contract
We process personal data where necessary to provide services requested by a Member, including to:
create and administer accounts;
provide profiles and listings;
enable Member communication;
provide membership functionality;
administer subscriptions;
provide referral features where applicable; and
provide other Platform functionality requested by the Member.
11.2. Legal Obligations
We may process personal data where necessary to comply with legal obligations, including:
accounting;
taxation;
regulatory obligations;
responding to lawful requests from competent authorities; and
other obligations imposed by applicable law.
11.3. Legitimate Interests
Where permitted by law and where our interests are not overridden by the rights and freedoms of the individual, we may process personal data for legitimate interests including:
protecting Platform security;
preventing fraud and abuse;
enforcing Platform rules;
investigating complaints;
protecting Members, pets and property;
improving Platform functionality;
maintaining technical logs; and
establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.
11.4. Consent
We rely on consent where required by law, including for certain:
marketing communications;
optional cookies or similar technologies;
optional analytics technologies where consent is legally required; and
other processing activities for which consent is the appropriate legal basis.
Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn at any time.
Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.
12. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
Where you have provided the required consent or where another lawful basis is available under applicable law, PetAndHouseEU may send marketing communications relating to the Platform, promotions, offers, updates or relevant services.
Where consent is required, marketing communications will not be sent without the appropriate consent.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe function provided in the communication or by contacting us.
Withdrawal from marketing communications does not affect essential service communications necessary to operate your account or membership.
13. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
The PetAndHouseEU website may use cookies and similar technologies.
These may include technologies necessary for:
security;
authentication;
account functionality;
remembering preferences;
Platform operation; and
other strictly necessary purposes.
Where legally required, optional analytics, advertising or marketing cookies will only be used after obtaining the user's consent.
Users must be able to refuse or withdraw consent for non-essential cookies where required by applicable law.

14. SERVICE PROVIDERS AND RECIPIENTS
PetAndHouseEU uses third-party service providers to operate, maintain and support the Platform.
Depending on the relevant processing activity, these providers include:
Framer
Framer is used for the PetAndHouseEU website, including website hosting, website infrastructure and delivery of the website to visitors.
As part of providing the website, Framer and its infrastructure providers may process technical information necessary to deliver and secure the website.
Adalo
Adalo is used for development and operation of the PetAndHouseEU application and related application infrastructure, database and functionality.
Personal data provided through or required for operation of the application may therefore be processed through Adalo's infrastructure as necessary to provide the Platform.
Make
Make is used for workflow automation and integrations between services used by PetAndHouseEU.
Where a workflow requires personal data to be transferred between Platform services, Make may process that information as necessary to execute the relevant automated workflow.
Stripe
Stripe is used for payment processing, subscription management and related payment functionality.
Further information about payment processing is provided in Section 6 of this Privacy Policy.
Other Service Providers
PetAndHouseEU may also use other providers where reasonably necessary for:
email delivery;
analytics;
security;
customer support;
infrastructure;
communications;
technical maintenance; or
other Platform functionality.
Service providers receive access to personal data only to the extent reasonably necessary for the relevant service.
Where a service provider processes personal data on behalf of PetAndHouseEU, appropriate data-processing arrangements are used as required by applicable data-protection law.
Some service providers may act as independent data controllers for certain processing activities where this follows from the nature of their services or applicable law.
Information concerning international transfers involving these providers is addressed in Section 16 of this Privacy Policy.
15. DISCLOSURE REQUIRED BY LAW AND PLATFORM SAFETY
We may disclose personal data where reasonably necessary to:
comply with applicable law;
comply with a binding legal obligation or lawful request;
protect the rights, safety or property of PetAndHouseEU, Members or others;
investigate suspected fraud or unlawful conduct;
respond to serious safety or animal-welfare concerns;
establish, exercise or defend legal claims; or
enforce our Terms & Conditions.
PetAndHouseEU does not sell personal data to advertisers.
16. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Some service providers used to operate the Platform may process personal data outside Hungary or the European Economic Area ("EEA").
Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA to a country that has not been recognised as providing an adequate level of data protection, PetAndHouseEU will use an appropriate transfer mechanism where required by applicable law.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses or another legally recognised safeguard.
Where a service provider can lawfully rely on an applicable adequacy decision or other recognised transfer mechanism, the relevant mechanism may be used.
17. DATA RETENTION
PetAndHouseEU retains personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to satisfy applicable legal, accounting, tax, security and dispute-resolution requirements.
Retention periods may vary depending on the category of data and purpose of processing.
For example:
account and profile information may generally be retained while the account remains active;
introduction videos may generally be retained while associated with the relevant profile;
listings and Platform content may be retained while necessary to provide the service;
support and complaint records may be retained for a reasonable period following resolution;
security and fraud-prevention information may be retained where reasonably necessary to protect the Platform;
accounting, invoicing and transaction records may be retained for periods required by applicable tax and accounting laws; and
information necessary for legal claims may be retained until the relevant limitation periods have expired.
When personal data is no longer required, it will be deleted, anonymised or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable law.
18. DATA SECURITY
PetAndHouseEU implements appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against:
unauthorised access;
unlawful processing;
accidental loss;
destruction;
alteration; and
unauthorised disclosure.
However, no internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Members are responsible for protecting their login credentials and should notify PetAndHouseEU if they believe their account has been compromised.
19. YOUR GDPR RIGHTS
Subject to the conditions and limitations provided by applicable law, individuals may have the following rights.
19.1. Right of Access
You may request confirmation as to whether we process your personal data and obtain access to applicable personal data and information about its processing.
19.2. Right to Rectification
You may request correction of inaccurate personal data and completion of incomplete personal data.
19.3. Right to Erasure
You may request deletion of personal data in circumstances provided by applicable law.
19.4. Right to Restriction
You may request restriction of processing in circumstances provided by applicable law.
19.5. Right to Data Portability
Where the legal requirements are met, you may request applicable personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and may have the right to transmit that data to another controller.
19.6. Right to Object
Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may have the right to object to that processing based on your particular situation.
You have the right to object at any time to processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes.
19.7. Withdrawal of Consent
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time.
Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.
19.8. Right to Lodge a Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.

20. ACCOUNT DELETION
Members may request deletion of their account using available Platform functionality or by contacting PetAndHouseEU.
Account deletion may result in deletion or anonymisation of profile information, introduction videos and other personal data that is no longer necessary.
Certain information may continue to be retained where required or permitted by law, including information necessary for:
accounting and taxation;
fraud prevention and security;
resolving disputes;
enforcing legal rights; or
establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.
Deletion of an account does not require PetAndHouseEU to delete information that must legally be retained.
21. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
PetAndHouseEU is intended exclusively for individuals aged 18 years or older.
Individuals under 18 are not permitted to create a PetAndHouseEU account or purchase a membership.
We do not knowingly seek to collect personal data from children through Member accounts.
If we become aware that an account has been created by a person who does not meet the minimum age requirement, appropriate action may be taken, including account deletion where necessary.
22. AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING
Unless expressly communicated otherwise in relation to a particular feature, PetAndHouseEU does not make decisions producing legal effects or similarly significant effects on Members solely through automated processing within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
If such functionality is introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy and any required notices will be updated as appropriate.
23. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, applications or services.
PetAndHouseEU is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.
Members should review the privacy information provided by the relevant third party before providing personal data directly to that service.
24. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
PetAndHouseEU may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:
Platform functionality;
processing activities;
service providers;
legal requirements; or
business operations.
The current version will be made available through the Platform.
Where required by applicable law, Members will be informed of material changes through an appropriate communication method.
The date shown at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when it was last updated.
