AFFILIATE PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS – PETANDHOUSEEU

Welcome to the PetAndHouseEU Affiliate Program.

These Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the PetAndHouseEU Affiliate Program (“Affiliate Program”).

By submitting an application and participating in the Affiliate Program, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

Individuals and businesses may apply to join the PetAndHouseEU Affiliate Program.

You do not need to be a paying PetAndHouseEU member and you do not need to have a minimum number of followers to apply.

However, to receive commission payments, you must be legally entitled to issue a valid invoice in accordance with the laws and tax requirements applicable to you.

You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any tax registration, VAT registration, business registration or other authorization required in your country to issue such invoices.

PetAndHouseEU reserves the right to approve or reject any Affiliate application at its discretion.

2. Affiliate Commission

Affiliates earn a one-time commission when a new customer purchases a qualifying annual PetAndHouseEU subscription through the Affiliate’s unique referral link or coupon code.

The commission depends on the subscription type purchased:

Sitter — €8

Pet Parent — €14

Both — €15

Commission is paid once per qualifying referred customer.

No recurring commission is paid on subscription renewals or subsequent purchases unless PetAndHouseEU expressly states otherwise.

All commissions are calculated in euros (EUR).

3. Qualified Referrals

A referral qualifies for commission only when:

• the referred customer is a new PetAndHouseEU customer;

• the customer successfully purchases a qualifying annual subscription;

• payment for the subscription has been successfully completed; and

• the referral is correctly attributed to the Affiliate through the Affiliate’s unique referral link or coupon code.

Commission will not be payable for:

• cancelled or refunded subscriptions;

• failed, reversed, disputed or unpaid transactions;

• duplicate or artificial accounts;

• self-referrals;

• fraudulent referrals;

• abusive or manipulated transactions; or

• transactions that PetAndHouseEU reasonably determines to be invalid or in violation of these Terms.

PetAndHouseEU reserves the right to review and verify referrals before approving any commission.

Where attribution cannot be reliably established because the referral link, coupon code or tracking mechanism was not correctly recorded, PetAndHouseEU may review the available information but cannot guarantee that the referral will qualify for commission.

4. Commission Statements

At the beginning of each month, PetAndHouseEU will provide the Affiliate with a commission statement showing, where applicable:

• approved successful referrals;

• commissions earned; and

• the Affiliate’s current approved unpaid commission balance.

PetAndHouseEU may review, correct or adjust a commission statement if a transaction is subsequently refunded, reversed, found to be fraudulent or otherwise determined not to qualify under these Terms.

5. Minimum Payout and Invoicing

The minimum payout threshold is €100 in approved unpaid commissions.

If the Affiliate’s approved unpaid commission balance is below €100, the balance will automatically roll over to subsequent months until the €100 minimum payout threshold is reached.

Once the approved unpaid balance reaches €100 or more, the Affiliate may issue an invoice for the approved amount shown by PetAndHouseEU.

The invoice must comply with all applicable legal and tax requirements.

PetAndHouseEU will process payment within 8 business days after receiving and accepting a valid invoice.

Payments are made by bank transfer to the bank account details provided by the Affiliate.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, any bank charges, currency conversion charges or other fees imposed by the Affiliate’s bank or payment provider are the responsibility of the Affiliate.

6. Taxes

Affiliates are solely responsible for determining, declaring and paying any taxes, VAT, social contributions or other charges arising from commissions received through the Affiliate Program.

PetAndHouseEU does not provide tax advice and is not responsible for an Affiliate’s individual tax, accounting or reporting obligations.

Affiliates should obtain independent professional advice if they are uncertain about their obligations.

7. Acceptable Promotion

Affiliates may promote PetAndHouseEU through lawful channels including:

• websites and blogs;

• social media;

• YouTube and other video platforms;

• newsletters;

• online or offline communities;

• personal recommendations; and

• other appropriate marketing channels.

Affiliates must represent PetAndHouseEU accurately and must not make false, misleading or unsubstantiated claims about PetAndHouseEU, its services, prices, membership benefits or Affiliate Program.

The following activities are prohibited:

• spam or unsolicited mass messaging contrary to applicable law;

• misleading or false advertising;

• fraudulent referrals or transactions;

• fake or duplicate accounts;

• self-referrals;

• impersonating PetAndHouseEU or its employees;

• presenting yourself as an employee, agent or official representative of PetAndHouseEU;

• unauthorized use of PetAndHouseEU branding or intellectual property;

• manipulating referral tracking or attribution; and

• any unlawful, deceptive, abusive or reputationally harmful activity.

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination from the Affiliate Program and cancellation of commissions generated through prohibited or fraudulent activity.

8. PetAndHouseEU Brand and Intellectual Property

PetAndHouseEU may provide Affiliates with approved logos, images, links, banners, text or other promotional materials.

Affiliates may use these materials solely for the purpose of promoting PetAndHouseEU as part of the Affiliate Program and in accordance with any brand guidelines provided by PetAndHouseEU.

Participation in the Affiliate Program does not transfer ownership of any PetAndHouseEU trademark, logo, content, design or other intellectual property to the Affiliate.

Affiliates must not register or use domains, social media accounts, advertising identities or other branding that could reasonably mislead people into believing that they are an official PetAndHouseEU account or service.

9. Independent Relationship

Participation in the Affiliate Program does not create an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture or franchise relationship between the Affiliate and PetAndHouseEU.

Affiliates act independently and are responsible for their own activities, expenses, taxes and legal obligations.

Affiliates have no authority to enter into agreements, make commitments or accept obligations on behalf of PetAndHouseEU.

10. Suspension and Termination

PetAndHouseEU reserves the right to:

• reject an Affiliate application;

• suspend or terminate participation in the Affiliate Program;

• investigate suspicious referrals or activity;

• refuse commissions generated through fraudulent, prohibited or invalid activity; and

• remove an Affiliate from the program where the Affiliate breaches these Terms or continued participation could reasonably harm PetAndHouseEU, its users or its reputation.

An Affiliate may stop participating in the Affiliate Program at any time.

Termination does not remove an Affiliate’s right to legitimate commissions that were already approved before termination, except where those commissions resulted from fraud, prohibited activity, invalid transactions or another breach of these Terms.

11. Changes to the Affiliate Program

PetAndHouseEU may modify these Terms, commission rates, eligibility requirements, payout conditions or other aspects of the Affiliate Program.

Material changes will be communicated to participating Affiliates by reasonable means, such as email or through the Affiliate Program.

Unless otherwise stated, changes will apply prospectively and will not retroactively reduce commissions already approved before the effective date of the change.

PetAndHouseEU may suspend or discontinue the Affiliate Program.

12. Limitation of Responsibility

PetAndHouseEU does not guarantee any minimum number of referrals, conversions, commissions or earnings from participation in the Affiliate Program.

The Affiliate is responsible for their own promotional activities and any costs incurred in connection with those activities.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be prohibited by applicable law.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Affiliate Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Hungary and applicable European Union law.

If the Affiliate is established or resides in another EU or EEA country, this choice of law does not exclude any mandatory legal protections that may apply under the laws of that country where such protections cannot lawfully be excluded.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Affiliate Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts determined in accordance with applicable Hungarian and European Union law.

14. Acceptance of These Terms

By submitting an Affiliate Application, you confirm that:

• you have read and understood these Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions;

• the information provided in your application is accurate;

• you are legally entitled to participate in the Affiliate Program;

• you understand that a valid invoice is required before commission can be paid;

• you are responsible for complying with applicable tax and legal requirements; and

• you agree to comply with these Terms.
