For Pet Parents

You travel. They stay home.

Because their favourite place is already home.

You've been looking forward to this trip. But there's one thing on your mind: who's going to care for your pets while you're away? What if they didn't have to leave home at all? Their own bed. Their favourite toys. Their familiar surroundings. Find a Sitter who stays in your home and cares for your pets while you enjoy your time away.

A simple exchange: the Sitter stays in your home for free and cares for your pets and home — you don't pay the Sitter, and there are no booking fees.

Their favourite place is already home.

Their own bed. Their favourite corner of the sofa. The familiar sounds and smells of home. Why change their entire world just because you're going away? With PetAndHouseEU, a Sitter comes to them. Your pets can stay in the surroundings they know, with someone there to care for them.

You're away. They're still home.

You're having breakfast in Rome.

They're waking up in their own bed.

You're walking along the beach.

They're enjoying their familiar surroundings.

You're discovering somewhere new.

Their world can stay familiar.

Your holiday doesn't have to mean a change of home for your pets.

But who am I letting into my home?

Your pets aren't just pets. And your home isn't just a place to stay. Of course you want to know who's going to care for them. That's why you should have the chance to get to know a Sitter before making your decision.

Your home. Your pets. Your preferences.

Everyone has different expectations when welcoming someone into their home. Tell Sitters what matters to you before they apply — you choose these when creating your listing, and Sitters see them before applying.

✓ID requested✓Criminal record certificate requested✓Short video call requested✓Additional questions before choosing

You choose these preferences when creating your listing. Any documents are shared directly between you and the Sitter. PetAndHouseEU does not verify them on your behalf.

No one knows your pets like you do.

Will they know what my dog needs? What about medication, or their usual routine?

You know their little habits, favourite routines and individual needs. In your listing you can describe your pets, their care, your home and what you expect during the stay — so applicants know what the stay involves before they apply.

But what if no one applies?

Your listing is more than a list of responsibilities. It's also an invitation to experience somewhere new. Show Sitters what makes your home, neighbourhood and destination special.

WHAT YOU NEED

Your pets. Your home. Your expectations.

Their routines, feeding and care needs, your home and exactly what you expect during the stay.

WHY THEY'LL LOVE STAYING THERE

Show Sitters why they'll love staying there.

Photos of your home, comfortable accommodation, fast Wi-Fi, shops and public transport nearby, a bicycle or the use of your car by agreement, hiking trails, beaches, an airport or station pickup — or the option to bring their own pet.

Don't just describe the responsibilities. Show the experience.

Regular listings

Your pets aren't the only ones staying home.

While you're away, your home doesn't have to stand empty.

Your Sitter stays there, cares for your pets and helps look after your home according to your agreement — watering the plants or light tidying, for example, if you ask for it and the Sitter agrees. Add it to your listing together with your dates, pets and photos.
